Disaster strikes in many ways but if the problem is a damaged disk, we can open any laptop in 30 minutes sometimes on site if needs be and get that data if the drive is still undamaged if not we will recover the data at our dedicated data recovery centre.
If you suspect your disk is damaged switch your mac off now and call, you could do more damage by fiddling with the drive.
