Educational set up of equipment needs to be right first time.
Too often we have found that large hardware sellers are only too keen to install the equipment they sell you into the school environment.
The dreadful state of many school Mac-based departments is a common sight, often the company that installs the equipment actually does not do the job correctly and then the support company that supports the school if any struggles to cope with the badly set up info structure.
One recent case was a school that for 3 years had again been scraping along with a poorly set up system, we resolved all their issues upgraded the server and imaged all the Macs in a 3 day onsite operation, since then they have had no major issues and can now utilise the Macs they already had as a full media production suite, which was an impossible dream before our visit.
We have a lot experience with schools networks and have setup mac servers in many schools with RM networks installed, we will happily provide references from these schools if you would like to see them.
